Hair and Hands. . .

Well I wrote Jordan a letter today, and the letter had two pictures in it. One of my hair (which by the way I just cut 8 inches off!) and the other of my hand that I burned so bad!

And this is four days after...yeah pretty yucky..!

This is my new hair cut which I love and hate at the same time, but I guess it will take some getting used to!

RoAd TrIp!!!

My family always takes a week during the summer to go on vacation! We were gone for ten days and it was a blast! Instead of telling you all about how about I show you!

Finding out the Details!!!

So I found out that I am going to meet seven other girls at the SLC International Airport! Whom I have been in touch and it has been so awesome to get to know them! Also I found out I fly out on August 25th and don't get to Hong Kong until the 27th! And I will be back on December 17th! And I got an email from Jordan last night and two letters today!! I am just the luckiest girl ever!!! I have been working on making him a photo album, oh and he should be sending pictures soon! He can already write his testimony in Spanish and greetings and things. He said that the first few days were rough but that now he is ready to get to work! Miss him love him! I am starting to find out for myself why we need this time apart and there is no better way than for him to be preaching God's work.

Saying Goodbye

The day was more perfect than I could have ever imagined it..not because I did some awesome thing..just being with him was more than enough. We went to breakfast, we danced and cried, we cuddled and watch a movie, we packed his things and ate dinner with his family, we laughed and we hugged. Scott and my Elder also gave me a blessing which may be the best thing about the whole day! I haven't felt the spirit like that for too long! And I have been convinced from the very beginning that I wasn't going to him getting set apart, however Grandma Karen talked me into it. Which I don't regret at all he looked so handsome and grownup and then I shook his hand and walked away. Good thing my parents came so I had someone to drive me home. He has already written me a letter though..i picked it up at his house today! I am so proud of him and miss him so much already. How selfish am I right? I mean I get to have him forever and God only wants him for two years. I guess thats going to have to be okay. Except I am going to have to study hard so that I am not completely inadequate to have him when he gets back. My daddy planned a picnic today though to try and keep my mind off of things so that was nice. Its going to be a long two years..ready or not here we go...Love you Elder Ellett

Jordans Farewell!

Mr. Jordan Fremon Ellett spoke in the Loa, UT war on June 27th. He did an absolute amazing job, we ate some Cafe Rio Burritos for our luncheon. I got my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday and he has been here taking care of me all the while. I say bye to him on Tuesday just before he gets set apart. Then on Wednesday morning his family drives him to the MTC in Provo. I am so lucky to have him! Love you with all my heart Elder Ellett!

Our New Adventure

I have been dating this boy named Jordan for about two and a half years. He is leaving in a few weeks to go serve the Lord and spread the gospel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Honduras, San Pedro Sula mission. I am so proud of him and grateful to be such a huge part of his journey. Meanwhile, I will embarking on my own adventure. I am making this blog so that all of you can join in my two year long endeavor! I am going to China in the fall, hopefully Europe next summer, and many more adventures! This is going to be a great chapter of my life, and help me get ready to be a better wife and mom!
